I wrote a song for the Byron Bridal Showcase promotional video by Matt Barwick! It’s called Exhale and was written especially for weddings. It has had a lot of interest from brides wanting to buy it for their wedding day! So last weekend I went to a local studio and recorded it properly! It’s currently being mixed and mastered in Sydney and then………. Going on iTunes!!! Super excited! I’ll also be featuring at the Byron Bridal Showcase on the 21st of July!

Song Summit (30/5/12)

So over the weekend just gone, I flew down to Sydney to go to APRA Song Summit!

Highlights of the weekend were……

Friday: Hanging out with Josh Pyke and Bluejuice and writing a song!

Saturday: Seeing W A S H I N G T O N play with fireworks going off – as well as getting a photo with the most beautiful Clare Bowditch!

Sunday – being approached by TWO producers, getting some great feedback and ideas for my song ‘Stay the Night’, watching (and hi-5ing) San Cisco, and listening to Imogen Heap’s magic… Ended the night with some fun with new friends – Samuel Cole & The Mornings, Argentina (who both won the Triple J sessions with Gotye today!), as well as some other amazing musicians… it was so sad to say goodbye to everyone!!!

So inspired to go write music now – if only I didn’t have school!
